It was time again for Sean Lewis to lead us out on his magical mystery tour of the Surrey and Sussex countryside. The weather forecast was good and so was the turnout with several new members joining us for one of the longest rideouts in our calendar.

The first destination was Riker's Cafe at Box Hill and then up the hill itself to take in the stunning views.

After Box Hill we then moved on to The Devil's Punchbowl for tea and cake before making our way round to Whiteways Cafe for more refreshments.

After a very enjoyable blast along the A27 we all arrived in Hastings to go to our favourite fish and chip shop "The Codfather" and from there we made our way home.

In all the journey was about 220 miles and 13 hours long. Picture as usual can be found in the Gallery.

Yes, it was that time of year again. Was the weather going to be good? Like hell it was, it is the Mayday Run after all! So, as usual we set off in the rain towards Hastings. It was not all doom and gloom though, the weather steadily improved throughout the day. Hasting was full of bikers and bike related attractions and by the time we arrived in Rye for afternoon tea it was quite pleasant if a bit windy. A film of the day's events is in the Videos section.

What better way to continue the new season than going along to the 2017 Southend Shakedown. Well... After some politics and wrangling between the organisers and Southend Council the event was cancelled.

Minor inconveniences such as this did not stop us from having a decent rideout so the destination was changed to a trip to the Airport Cafe and then on to the coast! See how it all went down in the Videos section.

The Whitstable Egg Run is an event that has been in our sights for a while now and this year we went for it with not one but two charity egg runs. The first was to the Medway Maritime Hospital departing from Reca's Cafe in Maidstone and then on to Whitstable for the annual proceedings there. Video logs of the day can be found in the Videos section.
